100 Years of Solitude

The brief was to create book cover for Gabriel García Márquez’s “100 Years of Solitude” The outcome came from the nature of his very chaotic story of one family that are destined to fail, no matter what they do to try and stop it. I tried to show the main images of the book in one chaotic but ordered form.From the Banana’s which lead to the end of the book to the Alchemy symbolism that enters the book near the start. Also there are two promotional posters and a website. These were created from the reception of the book but set in a way that was reminiscent of the book cover. Read Less
