  • Diamond Jubilee 2012 
  • This image was created for a promotional campaign for my agents  Meiklejohn who asked their Illustrators to create a commemorative cup and saucer for the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations. I decided to start with the basic concept of the Queen of Diamonds playing card, create a typographic focus with a flowing red, white and blue ribbon text, and to finish the image with an Illustrated playing card taking the place of biscuits on the saucer. And, for someone who is definitely not a royalist, I had to resist certain urges..... 

    This work was recently featured in French Photoshop Magazine's Typography special, as you can see from the images I have added.
