Fassade Novelty is another branch of the Fassade family of display faces, inspired by 1930s travel poster lettering and Harold Holland Day's Art Deco alphabet 'Novelty Gothic' (1931). Facade Novelty features classic Art Deco forms which where very common in the 1930s; ralley stripes, angle horizontal terminals and stylised 'hybrid' letters A, N, M, E, W, Y. These features gave the typefaces of this period a sense of movement and liveliness but also a persuasive elegance. Novelty comes with 2 versitile uppercase display sets and a range of alternative glyphs and special characters.
