Gourmet Typeface

Gourmet is a typeface that I designed during my sophomore year of college. Inspired by the proportions of the Roman capitals, Gourmet is an elegant font that uses exaggerated stroke weights and varied crossbar heights. The first two posters are computer-rendered promotional pieces, one structured and one playful. The last two are handmade experiments with the typeface on cupcakes, since the font was intended for use in restaurants, bakeries, and food packaging.
