A typeface by Ludwig Übele
Helsinki is derived from the Finnish traffic sign type. It comes in seven weights, including an ultra thin and ultra fat display version.

The connection of shoulder and stem is usually either smooth (left) or angular (middle). On one of the (weather-beaten) traffic signs it looked like a combination of both. I liked this feature and even exaggerated it (right).
