Simon Sans - Display Typeface

Named after the lake just outside our studio, Simon Sans, is an uppercase, sans serif display face, with a rugged charm and quaint idiosyncrasies. It’s inspired by turn of the century realist and geometric typefaces and comes in two versions—the uppercase being conservative in form, while the lowercase is filled with crude and naive letterforms somewhere between print-setting mistakes and written Native alphabets. Intended for posters and print projects, Simon Sans features a slight softening on the edges and small ink traps in congested corners.
