Since I started studying graphic design in college till now, I've been infatuated with type. This past year I started a sketchbook devoted to drawing type. The year is almost over and I'm almost through my second sketchbook. Here are several selections. I think I'm getting better...slowly :) I do use a book mark as a straight edge. But the rest is hand done. I'm inspired by random words or phrases I hear from conversations with friends, or even ones I happen to overhear.
