The challenge was to design a ‘dinner for two’ gift basket to be sold at Holt
Renfrew department stores across Canada. The unique clientèle Holt Renfrew
attracts played a crucial role in the development of this product. Holt
Renfrew’s clientèle are image conscious with a weak spot for a name brand.
This understanding led to the first Executive Chef at the Holt Renfrew Bloor
Street cafe in Toronto: Corbin Tomaszeski. His growing fame due to recent
appearances on television shows such as: ‘Crash my Kitchen’ & ‘Restaurant
Makeover’ sparked the idea to create his signature line.
